Logistics Planner

About this role

As a Logistics Planner, you are a key part of the Operations team within the Global Supply Chain team. Based in our Taiwan office, an important part of your role is to create and manage logistics plans for global shipments to OnLogic’s US and European warehouses to meet customer demand. This will require exceptional communication and coordination skills between suppliers, forwarders, carriers, customs brokers and the overarching Supply Chain team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for: Work with suppliers to ensure all committed products are available for pick up to meet the required shipping dates. Work with forwarders and carriers to coordinate pickups based on supplier's commit date for shipment to US & EU warehouses. Monitor shipment performance, assists in clearing shipments from customs as required. Negotiate contracts with carriers and forwarders. Identify more favorable shipping methods and carriers/forwarders to reduce shipping costs.

Manage global trade compliance, including HS classification, tariffs, duty optimization, customs brokers, and import/export regulations. At least 5 years of logistics experience. Experience using ERP systems (SAP, JDE, Oracle, etc.), (MRP and DDMRP) with a focus on procurement and warehouse operations. Experience with global shipment coordination with suppliers, carriers and freight forwarders for Air and Sea shipments. Experience preparing customs declaration paperwork. Ability to negotiate and manage favorable shipping contracts for Air and Sea carriers.

Expertise in global trade compliance and customs tariffs, capable of identifying opportunities for duty mitigation and cost-effective routing. Previous experience in purchasing and/or procurement. Benefits The salary range for this role is USD 1,000,000 to USD 1,700,000 TWD annually. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles.
