However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Maintenance Supervisor~ without more than normal supervision. Perform common Maintenance Supervisor duties for maintenance tasks for dams or related infrastructure. Distribute work assignments to maintenance teams with dissimilar occupations, such as maintenance workers, engineering equipment operators, and dam equipment repairpersons. Perform independent work in at least one of the listed occupations.

Provide technical direction to others for difficult work requirements. Oversee safety procedures, including ensuring staff have adequate Personal Protective Equipment. Work under close supervision of a work supervisor who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Work requires light physical effort, and incumbent is exposed to the discomfort of wearing safety equipment such as a hardhat and safety shoes under very hot conditions.

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, which exposes the incumbent to climate extremes.
