MANAGEMENT ANALYST
About this role
To qualify for a GS-13, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience developing staffing requirements, priorities, recruiting strategies, and budget requirements for all positions. Experience working with computer systems and associated word processing, spreadsheet, graphics and database software.
Experience in applying a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness, complex management processes and systems. Experience analyzing workforce issues, programs, and policies and ability to interpret regulations and policies and determine impact. Experience collaborating with supervisors/managers in preparing position descriptions (PD) for classification and processing necessary paperwork to execute numerous personnel actions for all command needs.
Experience initiating and tracking all Requests for Personnel Actions (RPAs), which includes reviewing and tracking all position descriptions submitted for approval. Experience providing advice for the following actions, including management options and alternatives regarding recruitment, analysis, reorganizations, realignments and reshaping/downsizing. Experience serving as a liaison between management, HRO, and OCHR Operations Centers.
Experience reviewing and verifying the accuracy of information on all Requests for Personnel Actions (SF-52), and amendments to PDs. Experience advising on matters relating to position management and position classification.
