You have the specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have more than one year but less than the required education in B.

OR B. Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR at least three full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M. in a related field of study. You may qualify if you have less than the full amount of experience described in "A" and less than the amount of education described in "B" but have a combination of the type of experience described in "A" and the type of education described in "B" totaling 100% of the stated qualifications for this position.

To determine your combination, first compute your experience as a percentage of the experience listed in "A" above; then determine your education as a percentage of the education listed in "B" above; then add the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100%. Only graduate education in excess of one year (i.e., 18 semester hours) may be combined with experience under this standard.
