Management and Program Analyst (Beacon Manager)

About this role

To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.

Program Assistance - Learning and assisting with program concepts, principles, practices, laws and regulations, budgeting and finance; organizational constructs, and between companies or agencies sufficient to analyze financial programs Beacon Management - Participating in beacon activation events for the purpose of determining causal factors, potential flaws in beacon design or usage, and training and education opportunities.

Program Analysis - Mastering program concepts, principles, practices, laws and regulations, budgeting and finance; organizational constructs, and between companies or agencies sufficient to analyze financial programs Beacon Management - Coordinating with Rescue Coordination Centers, State Search and Rescue Coordinators, beacon owners, beacon manufacturers and other applicable resources to evaluate beacon activation events for the purpose of determining causal factors, potential flaws in beacon design or usage, training and education opportunities, and policy or procedure updates that may be required.
