About this role

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: preforming professional contracting work by leading a technical organization in contracts and procurement work and advising on business related matters as they relate to the technical mission of the organization.

Basic Qualification Requirements for Contracting Officer Positions: In addition to meeting the basic educational requirement as well as the requirements above, applicants must have: 1) At least two years of experience in contracting positions; and 2) Completed all contracting courses required for a contracting officer for positions at the level and grade at which the person is serving. Certification at this level is sufficient to meet this standard.
