About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-03/GS9-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Experience within the Advanced Arresting Gear System in particular, a deep understanding of how the Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls subsystems interface 2) Performing analysis of large and complex data sets and has knowledge of such tools utilized for analysis 3) Working with stakeholders, both internal and external to NAVAIR, to form coalitions and achieve program goals 4) Develop recommendations based on analysis, writing technical documentation, and briefing complex technical issues to leadership 5) Utilizing modeling and simulation tools to forecast performance characteristics of ALRE systems Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series AND https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0800/files/all-professional-engineering-positions-0800.pdf Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
