NUCLEAR SURETY MODELING AND SIMULATION SPECIALIST
About this role
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (Experience must be clearly demonstrated in your resume): Integrating customer considerations and requirements into the development of computer modeling and simulation models, such as virtual facilities, landscapes, or vehicles; Utilizing advanced simulation, risk analysis, and spatial modeling software suites to conduct comprehensive technical and operational assessments; Managing simulated (virtual) combat environments to evaluate tactical scenarios and mission effectiveness; Interpreting modeling inputs and outputs to present data-driven results and strategic briefings to senior leadership.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
