Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria: Experience: Must have at least 3 months of practical knowledge and/or experience in clerical or office work of any kind demonstrating the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Technical Skills: Skill and working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
Must be a qualified typist. Customer Service & Cash Handling: Cash handling experience and good customer service skills are strictly required. Personal Attributes: Must be highly detail-oriented, work independently with minimal supervision, and demonstrate tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers, co-workers, and supervisors. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a golf course retail store, or a similar environment, is highly desirable (but not required).
