Position: Bilingual French STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety Type: Contract Compensation: $58–$62/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities Write expert-level prompts in French across specialized scientific topics.

Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content. Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations. Work independently and asynchronously to enhance AI model safety . Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure model outputs align with scientific standards. Qualifications Must-Have PhD in chemistry , biology , or a closely related field.

Native or near-native fluency in French and business-level written English . Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques in your subfield. Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information. Preferred Based in France or the wider Western Europe region. Expertise in radiochemistry , nuclear chemistry , or related fields. Demonstrated depth in a specific subfield like organic synthesis or molecular biology .

Experience with chemical safety, biosafety, or hazardous-materials handling. Experience reviewing or grading technical content.
