About this role

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience designing, planning, preparing, executing, post-processing, delivering data, and reporting the results within varying aspects of oceanographic surveys.

Experience utilizing advanced software and systems such as geographic information systems (GIS) and specialized sensor processing tools to develop innovative data representations and products that enhance analysis and interpretations. Experience coordinating and leading survey activities and ensuring a wide spectrum of environmental data is collected in accordance with mission requirements. Experience writing technical reports or mission planning documentation.

Experience leading technical projects and supervising multi-disciplinary teams of personnel.
