About this role

You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service: Strategizing, justifying, and defending an annual budget exceeding USD 80 million, including the complex redistribution of USD 40 million to the Military Services, Military Criminal Investigative Organizations, and the military justice system. In addition, executing the Congressional appropriation processes to negotiate earmarks and reprogramming of funds at the highest levels of government.

Synchronizing disparate business operations, ensuring the directorate possesses the agile, foundational architecture required to respond rapidly to shifting political and strategic DoW priorities. Analyzing emerging legislative intent, evaluating the geopolitical landscape, and forming an accurate hypothesis regarding which primary prevention and readiness initiatives must be expanded, restructured, or eliminated. Applying evaluation and measurement techniques in performing financial management, budget formulation and execution, acquisition planning, internal controls (FIAR) necessary to execute those missions.

Executing organizational management, workload measurement, resourcing, management and program analysis. Overseeing support to Department of War Sexual Assault Prevention and Response and the Integrated Primary Prevention missions within the Office of the Secretary of War. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
