Product Manager
About this role
ABOUT LETLY Letly is the AI-Native operating company built for the home. We believe the home should be autonomously run and we're building the software that will run all rental properties end-to-end. Letly’s product is technically difficult on purpose as the operational realities of handling property and money are messy. There are two product surfaces: the operating platform (lettings, property management, vendor marketplace) and the money surface (rent collection, deposits, client money accounts).
We've raised a $4m pre-seed and are a small, high-agency, engineering-oriented team, growing revenue at >100% month-over-month. We're hiring to facilitate this aggressive growth. HOW WE BUILD Product managers at Letly are the ‘CEOs of the product’ — real ownership, not coordination. Your pod's engineers report to you: you hire alongside the CTO, run the team day to day, and answer for its performance. You own the roadmap and priorities, and you carry your pod's KPIs — financial, usage, quality and risk — end to end, from the first scoping document to what's live in production.
You're accountable for the quality of everything the pod ships — the specs, the docs, the product itself; you personally test what goes out. Our product is complex and regulated, and we believe small, autonomous pods win over large functional orgs: the autonomy is real because the accountability is total. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 2+ years owning product end to end in a high-growth environment, including at least one thing you launched from zero; former founders are welcome.
- First Class or high 2:1 (or international equivalent) in a highly quantitative subject — maths, physics, economics, computer science or similar. Ex-founders whose product reached market are exempt from the subject requirement. - Technical range: you can intelligently discuss system design, APIs, data models and failure modes, and engineers respect your judgement. - Management: you've run engineers or designers as direct reports — or can show you're ready to.
- UX/Customer sense: you talk to users yourself and carry quantified customer evidence into your decisions; you have real judgement about flows, friction and experience — not just the backend. - You do your own analysis — you're comfortable in the data and you prioritise on expected impact, not on who asked. - Operational literacy: you can design a process and a product together, and you know which of the two is the right fix.
- AI-Native: you use models expertly, and you can specify an agentic product — scope, guardrails, evals and failure modes included. You verify agent output before it ships. NICE TO HAVE - Experience working in a regulated industry (such as fintech). - Property, real estate finance, or other similar experience. HOW YOU WORK - Hyper-focus on detail. These systems move money and manage assets; we have low tolerance for "mostly right".
- First-principles reasoning. You take a hard problem apart rather than reaching for the nearest familiar pattern. - Communication clarity. You can explain complex trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike. - Candour. You flag risk early and explain failures with data, not excuses. - Ownership mentality. You own the outcome, not the ticket: start to production, without being chased. - Collaborative.
Teams change the world, not individuals. You make the next team member better and faster. - Adaptability. You do well in a fast-moving environment where requirements shift under you. - Learning velocity. You pick up new paradigms quickly and don't need long to get productive in unfamiliar territory. - Quality-obsessed. Not just the specs and board — the organisation, the depth, the testing, the thing you leave behind.
BENEFITS On top of base salary, equity and annual bonus, you're also entitled to: - Private health insurance - Paid gym membership - Three meals a day, in office - Ubers home on late nights
