PRODUCTION SHOP PLANNER (ELECTRICIAN)

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO PROVIDE PRODUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES: *Reading and interpreting Task Group Instructions (TGI's), Technical Work Documents (TWO' s ), Drawings, Work and Test Manual (WTM), Process Instructions (PI's), Technical Specifications, Technical Manuals, Material Management Manual (MMM), Corporate Nuclear Power Manuals, Work Packaging Standard Operating Procedures and other required shipyard standards.

*Assisting first line supervisors, zone managers, schedulers, design and engineering personnel in answering questions, resolving work problems, and giving assistance on trade related requirements. *Initiating of Deficiency Logs (DL's) and/or Deficiency Reports (DR's) for outside purchases and/or problems. *Procuring materials/equipment from the Supply Department or Shop Stores, processing related software, and routing to requesting location.

*Possessing a journeyman's knowledge of production work in relation to submarine repair, maintenance, modification, testing, or inactivation.
