About this role

You may qualify at the GS-11 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service: Reviewing and coordinating Security Cooperation Office (SCO) nomination packages formulate and recommend new or modified program administrative policies, procedures, and regulations analyze and evaluate program effectiveness and develop recommendation to leadership analyze and identify Security Cooperation (SC) workforce development training requirements and managing SC training waiver request and assists in developing creative initiatives and executing special projects creating briefs, reports and memorandums.

Or B. I possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M., if related You may qualify at the GS-12 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service: Reviewing and coordinating SCO nomination packages Formulate and recommend new or modified program administrative policies, procedures, and regulations Analyze and evaluate program effectiveness and develop recommendation to leadership Analyze and identify SC workforce development training requirements and managing SC training waiver request Conducting cost-benefit analysis using qualitative and quantitative methods to measure program needs and; prepare talking points, memorandums and reports.

You may qualify at the GS-13 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Reviewing and coordinating SCO nomination packages Track, formulate and recommend new or modified program administrative policies, procedures, and regulations for the SCO community Evaluate SCO programs, propose changes and implement performance measures/metrics Identifying, proposing, and devising new organizational structures, realignment of functions, and/or staffing Analyze and identifying SC workforce development training requirements and managing SC training waiver request and Prepare talking points, reports and brief senior officials.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. *NOTE: Failure to provide transcripts will result in you being rated ineligible for this position.
