PROGRAM MANAGER
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DA-05) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes the following duties: 1) Leading a multi-disciplined Integrated Product Team to plan, budget, and manage the identification, development, acquisition, production, delivery, and sustainment of required aviation Support Equipment (SE) or Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment; 2) Ensuring proper program execution by coordinating with and leading multi-disciplinary, cross-site teams, including program offices, other NAVAIR/NAWCAD Departments, fleet representatives, contractors, and/or other government activities; 3) Managing program risks, issues, and opportunities; 4) Making major program recommendations concerning program direction, resources, policies, and schedules; 5) Managing project schedules, budgets, resources, and acquisitions to ensure all projects are executed in accordance with relevant policies; and meet program goals for cost, schedule, and performance.
