PROGRAM MANAGER

About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing fact finding and analytical techniques to identify problems and recommend corrective actions for programs that support the development of surface ship defense systems or warfighting capabilities.

Examples of qualifying experience: Managing the development, integration, and testing of Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS) or related Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) programs, ensuring the delivered technical capabilities support in the employment of U.S. Navy warfighting capability in both combat and non-combat environments. Formulate and devise new and unique U.S. Navy operational employment strategies and concepts to defeat emergent adversarial threats in response to fleet requests.

Provide leadership with expert tactical guidance and recommendations for achieving the organizations mission.
