PROJECT EXPOSURE MANAGER
About this role
For the GS 12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying mastery-level knowledge of the latest nuclear engineering developments to solve unprecedented problems. Experience directing naval nuclear radiological control operations and ensuring seamless alignment between Production, Nuclear Engineering, and Radiological Control Office responsibilities across the shipyard or similar.
Experience overseeing independent inspections, monitoring programs, and the final approval of technical work documents for critical reactor plant systems. Experience Overseeing the integration of multi-disciplinary engineering fields into the execution of high-stakes repair, overhaul, refueling, decontamination, and operational testing of naval nuclear reactor plants or similar. Experience supervising technical personnel and managing complex department operations while navigating overarching functional responsibilities, administrative constraints, and nuclear program policies or similar.
For the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience integrating detailed naval nuclear radiological control requirements and departmental policies into shipyard production, work processes, and repair operations.
Experience preparing and reviewing technical work documents and job plans that incorporate strict radiological and quality controls for nuclear work facility systems and shipyard equipment or similar. Experience utilizing comprehensive knowledge of production-based nuclear trade skills to support the repair, overhaul, refueling, and decontamination of naval nuclear reactor plants or similar. Experience providing technical guidance and oversight to personnel executing complex nuclear production tasks, ensuring strict adherence to independent inspection protocols and safety standards.
