Project Manager Our client is a joint venture dedicated to accelerating Vietnam’s energy transition by investing in an end-to-end electric two-wheeler (E2W) mobility solution. They aim to deliver a seamless consumer experience powered by an integrated digital ecosystem. Role Overview The PMO Manager will be responsible for managing the company's overall project governance, workstream timeline, milestone tracking, issue escalation, and cross-functional coordination across all launch-related workstreams.
This role is critical to ensure the company's pilot launch and commercial launch are delivered on time, with clear ownership, disciplined execution, and timely leadership intervention on key risks and dependencies. The PMO Manager will work closely with all function leads, including Business Development, Sales and Distribution, Marketing, Operations, Aftersales, Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement, Digital, Government Affairs, and external partners to maintain one integrated project plan and ensure all workstreams are progressing against agreed timelines.
1 - Integrated Workstream Timeline Management Develop and maintain the company's integrated master project timeline covering all key workstreams. Track milestones, deliverables, owners, deadlines, dependencies, and decision points across all functions. Ensure each workstream has a clear execution plan, weekly priorities, accountable PIC, and realistic completion timeline. Identify timeline conflicts, resource gaps, and critical path risks.
Support function leads to break down high-level milestones into detailed action plans. Maintain version controls the master timeline and ensure all stakeholders are working from the latest plan. 2 - Project Governance and Execution Discipline Establish and manage the company's project governance cadence, including weekly workstream meetings, leadership updates, steering committee reviews, and issue escalation forums. Prepare meeting agendas, pre-read materials, action trackers, decision logs, and follow-up notes.
Ensure all project actions have clear owners, deadlines, status, and next steps. Drive follow-up with workstream owners to ensure actions are closed on time. Build a disciplined project management rhythm across the c ompany's, especially during pilot launch and commercial launch preparation. 3 - Risk, Issue and Dependency Management Maintain a centralized risk, issue, action, and dependency tracker. Proactively identify risks that may impact launch timeline, cost, compliance, customer experience, or operational readiness.
Highlight critical dependencies across workstreams, such as license approval, public land approval, station deployment, vehicle readiness, service network readiness, channel readiness, digital readiness, and HR onboarding. Escalate key risks and delays to leadership with clear options, required decisions, and recommended actions. Support teams in developing mitigation plans and recovery actions. 4 - Launch Readiness Tracking Build and maintain pilot launch and commercial launch readiness checklists.
Track readiness across key areas such as: Consolidate workstream status into a clear traffic-light dashboard for management review. 5 - Leadership Reporting and Communication Prepare weekly project status reports for the company's leadership. Translate detailed workstream updates into concise, executive-ready summaries. Highlight key progress, overdue items, critical risks, required decisions, and upcoming milestones.
Prepare materials for management meetings, board discussions, and partner alignment sessions where required. Ensure leadership has clear visibility of what is on track, what is delayed, what needs attention, and what requires decision. 6 - Cross-functional Coordination Act as the central coordination point across all the company's workstreams. Facilitate collaboration between functions and remove information gaps between teams.
Ensure interdependent teams are aligned on timing, deliverables, assumptions, and handover requirements. Coordinate with external partners, including Gogoro, vendors, advisors, service providers, and agency partners where required. Support the team in managing urgent, ad hoc, and cross-functional launch topics. 7 - Process, Tools and Documentation Develop simple and practical project management tools, including: Master project timeline Workstream tracker Risk and issue log Decision log Action tracker Launch readiness checklist Meeting governance calendar Executive dashboard Ensure project documentation is accurate, well organized, and easy to retrieve.
Support the setup of project management tools or platforms, such as Excel, Smartsheet, Planner, Teams, or other internal systems. Continuously improve reporting templates and governance process to improve efficiency and clarity. Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Operations, or related discipline. Minimum 5 to 8 years of project management, PMO, business operations, strategy execution, or transformation experience.
Experience managing complex cross-functional projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders. Strong capability in timeline management, milestone tracking, risk management, and executive reporting. Experience in start-up, mobility, automotive, EV, energy, retail, infrastructure, or joint venture environment is preferred. Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Planner, Asana, Monday.com, Jira, or similar tools is a plus.
Strong English communication skills are preferred. Preferred Capabilities Ability to build processes from zero to one in a fast-paced environment. Strong sense of urgency and ownership. Good understanding of launch management, commercial readiness, and operational readiness. Ability to challenge timelines constructively and push teams for clear actions. Strong stakeholder management skills across senior leaders and working teams.
Ability to simplify complex information into clear, executive-level updates. Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing priorities. Experience supporting board-level or leadership-level reporting is a plus.
