PROJECT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (ZM)

About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying a comprehensive range of principles, concepts, and practices concerning shipyard work operations, control system requirements, and trade and shop practices.

Experience utilizing knowledge of production trade and technical methods, procedures, materials, and processes associated with the repair and overhaul of complex Naval vessels. Experience applying project management, quality control, cost control, schedule control, and workflow techniques. Experience conducting a variety of meetings or critiques to review key reports and schedules and identifying major problems which may arise requiring worksite coordination with others.

Experience investigating and analyzing practices and problems to initiate effective improvements and solutions. Experience analyzing, evaluating, and adjusting project resources, work operation equipment, and facilities against current and future scheduled work requirements.
