About this role
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Directing and executing comprehensive program support for high-consequence national security initiatives, including Special Operations Forces (SOF) and/or other sensitive programs, ensuring mission requirements were met through strategic planning and resource allocation; Designing and governed the complete life-cycle of test and evaluation programs for critical systems and equipment acquisitions, validating operational effectiveness to authorize official Fielding and Deployment Releases (F&DR); Negotiating, authoring, and administer formal inter-agency Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) or similar agreements to define operational parameters, secure resources, and codify partner-nation and governmental cooperation.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
