Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-09 level, you must have: a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level: Assisting with administrative or safety tasks such as scheduling, records or property management, document tracking, filing systems, data entry, or surveyance, quality control/inspection or logistics; Using software or administrative systems to gather, input, or track information.

OR b) Completed all requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree in an appropriate field OR c) Completed 2 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in an appropriate field OR d) LL. B or J.D, if related OR e) Have an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as discussed in a), b), c) and d) above To qualify for GS-11, you must have: a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level: Performing administrative or safety tasks such as scheduling, records or property management, document tracking, filing systems, data entry, or surveyance, quality control/inspection or logistics; Applying administrative or safety policies, procedures, or systems to support organizational operations.

OR b) Completed all requirements for a doctoral degree (i.e., Ph.D. or equivalent) in an appropriate field OR c) Completed 3 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or equivalent doctoral degree in an appropriate field OR d) LL.M., if related OR e) Have an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as discussed in a), b), c) and d) above To qualify for GS-12, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level: Supporting administrative or safety programs (e.g., Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of administrative, property management, property and facility surveyance, drafting/technical documentation, facility activities, or safety support programs, or quality control/inspection.) Providing administrative or safety guidance to leadership, supervisors, or technical teams.

To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level: Providing expertise in administrative or safety programs (e.g., Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of administrative, property management, property and facility surveyance, drafting/technical documentation, facility activities, or safety support programs, or quality control/inspection.) Providing administrative or safety guidance to leadership, supervisors, or technical teams to support program execution, ensure compliance, or resolve complex operational issues.

To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Leading organizational administrative or safety program activities (e.g., establishing policies for workforce actions, conducting hazards analysis, quality control/inspection, property and facility surveyance, governing property accountability, overseeing enterprise documentation control systems, or balancing constraints across facility activity schedules); Providing administrative or safety guidance to senior leadership, supervisors, or cross-disciplinary technical teams to influence policy, shape strategic decisions, or address organization-wide operational challenges.
