QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Monitoring, inspecting, and evaluating contractor-operated fuel or petroleum storage and distribution operations for compliance with contract requirements or technical specifications; 2) Applying quality assurance principles, product testing, and sampling methods specifically related to petroleum, oil, and lubricant (POL) products; 3) Assessing petroleum distribution systems (e.g., pumps, piping, filter separator units, storage operations) to identify deficiencies or safety hazards; and 4) Using specialized testing equipment to perform fuel quality testing, chemical/physical analysis, or inventory reconciliation.
