Records and Information Management Specialist
About this role
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Establishing information architectures and creating new procedures to execute information management programs. Developing and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions, including custom workflows, forms, and dashboards. Ensuring all electronic and information technology (EIT) developed, procured, maintained, or used by the organization is compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Manages the agency's records management program in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and agency directives. You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service: Supporting the establishment of information architecture and drafting new procedures to execute information management programs.
Assisting with ensuring all electronic and information technology (EIT) developed, procured, maintained, or used by the organization is compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Following the agency's records management program in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and agency directives. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
