About this role

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Completion of the requirements for a bachelor's degree in one of the program areas to be managed. OR Experience that provided a knowledge of the goals, principles, methods and techniques of recreation and an understanding of the interests of individuals or groups.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess 1-2 years personnel management experience (supervising employees, conducting ratings,/counseling, recruitment, performance ratings, etc.) within Non-appropriated funds. Possess 1-2 years food and beverage (i.e., Inventory control, receiving and ordering of inventory, snack and bar operations, concessionaire/contracting) management experience.

Possess 1-2 years conducting and facilitating recreational programs (monthly recurring programming of ongoing recreation classes and special events and soldier and family programming). Currently possess a valid Certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) and/or a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP) certificate or equivalent? Must submit the certificate(s) at the time of application. Applicant meeting the Best Qualifying Criteria/Highly Preferred will be referred to the hiring manager.
