REGIONAL PROGRAM DIRECTOR

About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using professional knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques of business administration and public administration, with a good working knowledge of the Navy N9 programs under program management of the Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC); 2) Possessing the knowledge of pertinent DoD and Navy regulations and pertinent instructions and policies, and a technical knowledge of N9 program, problems and solutions; 3) Demonstrating a mastery of large command, and preferably regional, management of major N9 program operations including both appropriated and non-appropriated funds, financial management, Category C: Business Activities, and public policy decisions; 4) Possessing experience and demonstrating success in regional multi-command, multi-claimant programs, and organization development, implementation and evaluation; 5) Using a good working knowledge of DoD and Navy organizational structures, long-range organizational planning principles, quality of life resource planning and budgeting principles; 6) Applying effective supervisory practices and procedures, and employee management principles to include EEO/Affirmative Action Plans; 7) Demonstrating thorough knowledge of public program management skills and Navy organizations and operations.
