About this role
You must meet the Specialized Experience to qualify for , as described below. For the GS-13: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level GS-12 in the Federal Service. Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.
To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Qualifying specialized experience for GS-13 includes at least three of the following: Ability to work independently while performing statistical analyses, creating data visualizations, and managing data using software, such as Stata, R, Python, Snowflake, Tableau, SAS, or Microsoft Power BI. Conduct studies to evaluate data and program effectiveness, and prepare internal and external reports summarizing the findings.
Conduct program evaluation research using social science methods, econometrics, or decision science. Experience in quantitative, qualitative, and evaluative methodologies for complex policy and program analysis including analyzing and linking datasets across administrative or survey databases. Experience communicating in-depth data analysis and research, including issue formulation, data visualization, logical discussion of relevant facts, and presentation of findings and policy implications.
