About this role
To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.
Coordinating and providing office management services, receiving and distributing mail and express shipments, and determining supply requirements. Administering and maintaining an office records management program involving correspondence, personnel records, and other administrative data and records. Receiving and assisting visitors and responding to telephone and other inquiries; determining nature and purpose of inquiries and requests.
Gathering, organizing, and assembling background materials, briefing information and other supporting documents for meetings, special events, and command activities or resolving routine logistical issues to ensure events are properly organized and conducted. Reviewing outgoing correspondence and reports for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established organizational policies, procedures, and formatting requirements; identifying and correcting errors or deficiencies.
