SECURITY STRATEGY ANALYST
About this role
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the 12 grade level in the Federal service: Leading a Security Program Developing, interpreting, and implementing security objectives, plans procedures and operations in a SAP, TS-SCI environment Performing duties of a unit Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO), unit SAP Personnel Security Official (SPO), unit Special Security Representative (SSR), and unit Media Control Officer (MCO) Developing and coordinating new methods supporting development and use of collaborative and/or multi-partner, global, and multi-portfolio joint Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information/Special Access Programs/Compartmented Access Programs (TS/SCI/SAP/CAP) security programs Applying new concepts and advances to address unique security challenges not readily susceptible to treatment by accepted/published security methods, technology, or procedures and satisfactorily integrating new approaches.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
