About this role

Eligibility will be based upon a clear showing the applicant has training, education and experience of the scope and quality sufficient to effectively carry-out the duties of the position. Strategic Planning: Leads the full lifecycle of campus facility development. Aligns infrastructure with mission priorities and readies mature, "on-the-shelf" designs for rapid construction. Engineering Standards: Drafts technical standards integrating architecture, IT, and safety codes (UFCs), while balancing operational needs with historic preservation.

Financial & Contract Oversight: Advises on budget submissions (POM) and funding strategies. Acts as the Senior Technical Advisor to Contracting Officers to monitor contractor compliance and resolve technical disputes. Executive Counsel: Serves as the principal technical advisor to the Combatant Commander. Provides critical engineering data for high-level engagements (Congress, DoW, Air Force) and complex negotiations.

Leadership & Mentorship: Drives cross-functional collaboration and mentors facility management staff, building sustainable, long-term engineering expertise within the command.
