Description Keeper Security is hiring an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team and help build, automate and operate the cloud infrastructure that supports Keeper’s global cybersecurity platform. Qualified candidates must permanently reside in Ireland. This is a hybrid position for those living within a commutable distance to our Cork, Ireland office, or fully remote for those living outside a commutable distance.

About the Role As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, automate and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure supporting Keeper’s applications and services. You will work closely with Software Engineering, Security, QA and Platform teams to improve deployment automation, infrastructure reliability, observability and operational efficiency.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone with strong AWS, infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD experience who enjoys improving complex cloud environments through automation. As part of Keeper’s globally distributed Engineering organisation, this position will also provide critical EMEA-based operational coverage, improving collaboration, incident response and continuity across time zones. Responsibilities Design, build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure primarily within AWS Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments Partner with Software Engineering teams to improve deployment processes, release reliability and developer workflows Manage and optimise containerised workloads using Docker, Kubernetes or similar technologies Implement monitoring, logging and alerting to improve infrastructure visibility, reliability and incident response Provide EMEA-based operational coverage and collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams across regions to support platform reliability and continuity of operations Troubleshoot complex production issues across cloud infrastructure, applications, networking and deployment pipelines Improve infrastructure security, access controls, secrets management and configuration standards Develop automation and tooling using Python, Bash or similar scripting languages Identify opportunities to improve platform scalability, performance, resilience and cost efficiency Participate in architecture reviews, incident response and post-incident improvement initiatives Maintain clear technical documentation, runbooks and operational procedures Use AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot or similar platforms to improve scripting, troubleshooting, technical research, documentation and workflow efficiency Requirements 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or a related role Strong hands-on experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure in AWS Strong experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code technologies Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar platforms Proficiency with scripting and automation using Python, Bash or similar languages Hands-on experience with Docker and containerised environments Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration technologies Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking and cloud infrastructure Experience with logging, monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana or similar Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, secrets management and least-privilege principles Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, infrastructure and networking Experience working collaboratively with Software Engineering, Security and QA teams Ability to operate effectively as part of a globally distributed engineering organisation and collaborate across time zones Ability and willingness to use AI-assisted tools effectively to improve automation, troubleshooting, technical analysis and documentation Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Qualified candidates must permanently reside in Ireland Preferred Requirements Experience operating high-scale SaaS or cybersecurity platforms Experience managing production Kubernetes environments Familiarity with multi-account or multi-region AWS architectures Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible Familiarity with vulnerability management, infrastructure hardening or compliance automation Experience with secrets management, privileged access management or identity security technologies Relevant AWS, Kubernetes or DevOps certifications Experience supporting globally distributed production environments or follow-the-sun operational models Benefits Onsite lunches Private healthcare (no wait period) Pension contribution (no wait period) Sick Pay Bike-to-Work Scheme (if local) Keeper is an equal opportunity employer.
