MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: In addition to meeting the basic requirement, applicants must also meet the minimum qualification requirement.
SO-01: Applicant must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14/SK-14 level in the federal government. Specialized experience is defined as: Monitoring risk management practices at large broker-dealers; and Approving and monitoring the use of quantitative models by large broker-dealers; OR Analyzing statistical models, calculating aggregated risk measures, such as Value-at-Risk ("VaR") and stress test methodologies developing findings related to models and risk governance; and Conducting targeted cross-firm examinations of large broker-dealers; and Monitoring certain large broker-dealers with material affiliates.

Rule Development: Prepares recommendations for rules that meet desired policy objectives within the agency's statutory authority or that implement legislation. Market Risk Analysis: Advises on operational risks and practices requiring an understanding of the marketplace landscape to inform and support policy development
