About this role

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience for the GS-15, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting both A and B below: A. Experience in writing, researching, analyzing data, or providing policy advice in at least THREE of the following five areas of focus: 1.

Consumer financial products; OR 2. Economic opportunity; OR 3. Child-savings accounts; OR 4. Access to credit; OR 5. Financial fraud and scams perpetrated against individuals. AND B. Experience in at least TWO of the following three activities:1. Developing national policies, strategies, or plans to improve individual financial literacy, economic mobility, and utilization of financial services. OR 2. Implementation of national public awareness and/or consumer education campaigns related to federal programs and initiatives designed to promote life-long financial security through wealth-building, fraud prevention, payment security, or other means.

OR 3. Developing in-depth written reports analyzing access to credit, financial services, and trends in financial literacy or capability based on independent research of geographic and income-based population data. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
