ABOUT THE ROLE This is an in-house, senior SEO leadership role at a fast-growing AI-powered business communication company targeting SMEs globally. You'll own the full SEO strategy and execution — from technical foundations to content — across multiple international markets, starting with DACH and expanding outward. It's a high-impact, autonomous position at the heart of the company's growth engine. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own end-to-end SEO strategy and execution across all markets, beginning with DACH and scaling internationally.

- Define page structure and architecture in close collaboration with website and engineering teams on technical SEO. - Lead keyword research and shape the approach for both traditional search engines and AI-generated results. - Commission or write content needed to achieve and maintain top rankings. - Manage a monthly SEO budget of €20,000–€30,000, including oversight of external agencies where appropriate. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Proven track record of building SEO at significant scale in a dedicated, full-time SEO role — with measurable results to show for it.

- Strong international SEO expertise and a clear understanding of how to approach markets beyond your home region. - Fluency in both English and German (required). - Hands-on experience with website platforms such as Webflow or similar CMS/site-building tools. - Strong copywriting skills — the ability to write compelling, optimised content yourself is highly valued. - Comfort managing external agencies while retaining full strategic ownership.

- Familiarity with AI search and how emerging AI-generated results are reshaping SEO. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: €65,000–€100,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION On-site role based in Vienna, Austria.
