About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience includes managing the execution of a Ship's Safety Program for the safe overhaul of naval vessels. This experience involves serving as a technical authority on ship safety matters, including trim, list, stability, and watertight integrity; conducting investigations into safety incidents and disapproving or stopping work as necessary to maintain ship conditions; and acting as the primary point of contact for the Ship's Commanding Officer on all non-nuclear ship safety issues.
