SOUTHEAST ASIA POLICY MANAGER
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: Working as a policy analyst, country desk officer, or similar role focused on the political-military landscape of Southeast Asian nations; Understanding of U.S.
defense policy, interagency coordination, and analytical frameworks to advance combatant command strategy and senior leader engagements; Demonstrating the ability to draft analyses, background papers, and talking points for senior leaders regarding regional political-military developments; Demonstrating excellent briefing and writing skills for preparing command leadership for trips, high-level meetings, and congressional testimony; Coordinating, directing, or leading a team (including military officers) in planning and executing sensitive, high-level, bilateral engagements.
