Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in work which provided comprehensive knowledge of double-entry accounting methods, procedures, and techniques used in maintaining and analyzing all classes of accounting system encompassing a number of diversified activities; Experience in reviewing financial settlements and reports. Experience providing high-level customer service to internal/external customers. Experience with accounting systems sufficient to flow individual funds from initiation through expenditure stages.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulation. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Experience utilizing office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including Power Point, Word, Access, and Excel). Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from commanders and managers, customers, and public. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Requires the ability to plan, schedule and direct the work operations of subordinates. Basic knowledge and skill in Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) and Appropriated Fund (APF) budget is desired Must be able to read, speak, and write English. Accounting or finance degree from an accredited university desired.
