SUPERVISORY COMPUTER SCIENTIST
About this role
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Mastery level of knowledge of and demonstrated experience in Defense Acquisition Program Management policies and activities. This also includes a sound understanding of matters dealing with workforce recruitment, training, qualifications, and professional development.
2. Ability to work within or direct a team of individuals possessing diverse skills engaged in Defense Acquisition program activities. 3. Mastery Engineering knowledge of any of the following areas, or with weapons systems and equipment of similar technology and complexity: a. Communications, Intelligence and Networking Systems b. Ground Transportation and Engineering Systems (i.e. Expeditionary Power; Motor Transport; Construction/Material Handling Equipment; Fuel Distribution).
c. Information Systems and Infrastructure (Business Systems, Network and Infrastructure Services Computing Platforms). d. Infantry Weapons Systems (Anti-Armor, Small Arms, Optics/Night Vision, Parachute Services computing Platforms). e. Combat Equipment and Support Systems (Combat Equipment/Personal Protective Equipment; Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense).
f. Weapons and Sensors Development and Integration (Command and Control, Air Defense, Unmanned Systems, Aviation Command and Control). g. Armor and Fire Support Systems (Artillery and Rocket Systems, Fire Support Systems, Armored Vehicles/Tanks). h. C4I and IT Systems. i. Counter Improvised Explosive Devices. 4. Ability to communicate at the highest levels both orally and writing and demonstrated skills in problem solving and decision-making techniques.
