About this role

Must have obtained DAWIA Professional Certification or equivalent Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C). Must upload certificate. Failure to upload will result in automatic disqualification. SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST, GS-1102-13: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-12 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated.

Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by: working knowledge of a wide variety of contracting methods and contract types sufficient to perform pre-award/post-award and/or contract price/cost analysis; Experience performing acquisition planning; Experience with contract price and cost analysis/cost accounting techniques, comprehensive negotiation techniques and a working knowledge of statutes and regulations as they apply to procurement functions.
