Only experience obtained by 07/27/2026 will be considered. Minimum Qualification [GS-14] Applicants must possess at least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes: Performing program management duties such as developing, evaluating, and executing multi-year financial plans; carrying out position management activities; and conducting both long-range and short-term planning for facility programs.

Managing a workforce engaged in facility management, engineering, and/or design for a large park or multiple park units, including oversight of projects funded by multiple fund sources. Providing leadership and technical direction in the planning, design, construction, repair, and maintenance of buildings, utilities, roads, trails, parking areas, and other constructed assets. Supervising a large professional staff, including subordinate supervisors, and directing interdisciplinary teams responsible for facility operations, project development, and asset management.

You must include the hours worked per week for all experience listed. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Temporary Promotion Requirements - Career or career-conditional candidates applying for a temporary promotion, must meet all qualification requirements, including time-in-grade qualification requirements. Detail Requirements - Candidates are required to meet minimum qualifications. They are not required to meet time-in-grade requirements of this position.

While on detail, the employee continues to hold their official position from which detailed and keeps the same status and grade.
