Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist

About this role

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing a comprehensive facilities maintenance program. This experience must include: Supervising a diverse workforce of trades personnel executing maintenance, repair, and construction activities across various crafts.

Utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the planning, scheduling, and execution of work. Developing and implementing maintenance strategies and policies, preventative maintenance programs, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) program. Overseeing customer service operations to resolve complaints and ensure responsive support for all stakeholders. Managing the fiscal aspects of a facilities program, including developing budget estimates and tracking expenses to ensure work stays within approved funding limits.

Serving as a senior advisor or technical expert on facilities management. This experience must demonstrate the ability to direct complex work, manage competing priorities under pressure, and apply in-depth knowledge of facility management principles and practices to ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and preservation of infrastructure.
