About this role

Specialized Experience: For the Band V (GS-15), you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the Band IV (GS-14) in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes performing or overseeing finance, procurement, or budget formulation and execution activities; delivering leadership briefings; leading a group of budget, finance, or procurement professionals; and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Education: Education cannot be substituted at this band/grade level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
