SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER

About this role

In addition to the Basic Requirements, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Providing progressive team leadership within a multidisciplinary technical environment, including delivering integrated, end-to-end oversight across both the design and construction phases of complex projects; 2) Facilitating collaboration and resolving complex technical conflicts between design teams, contractors, and end-users to mitigate risk and maintain project momentum; 3) Managing day-to-day personnel operations by planning and assigning work, delivering performance feedback, and resolving minor employee grievances; 4) Managing and executing administrative approvals such as timekeeping, travel orders, training requests, and leave requests; 5) Analyzing operational metrics and programmatic data to develop strategic recommendations and preparing high-level executive briefings; and 6) Acting with full authority as the primary liaison to key mission partners in the absence of executive leadership to translate strategic objectives into actionable tasks.
