SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER

About this role

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: * Experience executing the shipyard's non-radiological emergency management and casualty preparedness programs.

* Experience coordinating emergency plans with other naval activities, federal, state and local governments. * Experience conducting major periodic training and exercises with shipyard and other personnel involved in responding to non-radiological emergencies. * Experience working with Incident Command System (ICS), National Incident Management System (NIMS), Navy, state and local emergency programs and procedures. * Experience conducting independent surveillances, audits and having oversight of the Industrial Ship Safety Manual for Fire Prevention and Response.

* Experience preparing emergency plans to ensure protection of the shipyard workers and the general public.
