About this role

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing direct technical and administrative supervision to Data Acquisition Branch professionals, assigning complex projects to senior personnel, establishing performance priorities, and evaluating work progress against command objectives.

Experience directing workforce career development by identifying technical training needs, consulting with training specialists, and ensuring all branch personnel complete Job Qualification Requirements (JQRs) for oceanographic survey operations. Experience directing the complete engineering design, development, fabrication, and testing lifecycles of short-duration and multi-year stay-behind oceanographic and acoustic sensor systems.

Experience managing multi-sponsor reimbursable financial resources, including formulating and submitting complex budget estimates for operational execution, equipment acquisition, and out-year maintenance.
