About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13/14) grade level or pay band (NM-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Serving as a lead engineer or as a lead technical domain subject matter expert for assigned systems providing authoritative systems engineering or senior-level engineering technical domain input and advice to program management leadership; (2) Leading the development and incorporation of systems engineering work products or technical domain work products required to satisfy, complement, and inform program management milestones, artifacts, strategic planning, risk characterization, and decision making on major weapon systems; (3) Mastering the incorporation and use of various resources to support engineering development, planning, and testing for assigned systems; (4) Leading engineering, technical, acquisition, and sustainment support personnel and teams; and (5) Directing the development of contract engineering specifications which define system requirements and parameters, along with developing all engineering portions of Procurement Requests, Requests for Proposal, Requests for Quotations, etc.
