About this role

You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Independently advising on and developing staffing solutions and recruitment strategies in accordance with HR laws and regulations; Providing guidance and recommendations on complex performance and conduct issues; Clearly communicating technical HR information, both verbally and in writing, to customers; and Using automated technology and data management tools to research, analyze, interpret, and present HR information.

Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
