About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as: Experience with Maritime Domain Awareness and/or maritime intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) technology, systems, or tools in an applied analytic work role. Superior interpersonal, organizational, and management skills to conceptualize and effectively lead complex analytic and policy-support projects.

Expert ability to work with and fairly represent the Navy, Department of War (DOW), or Intelligence Community positions on Maritime Domain Awareness strategy and policy when analytic views differ among stakeholders. Excellent ability to manage MDA collection programs or to produce analytic finished intelligence derived from MDA systems and technology and broad knowledge of the role of intelligence analysis related to MDA collection.

Deep understanding of relevant allied and partner relationships and priorities in MDA collection or analysis, along with the ability to represent United States Government positions in various fora at all levels. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to exert influence with senior leadership and communicate effectively with people at all staff levels, both internal and external to the organization, including domestic and foreign partners.

Superior ability to clearly convey complex information and technical data to all levels of USG management and foreign partners. Superior negotiation skills and the superior ability to build consensus, work effectively, and independently exert influence on major ODNI stakeholders. Ability to provide supervisory oversight to intelligence activities across a wide range of functional and regional MDA strategies/goals.
