This job announcement will fill multiple vacancies at the full performance levels (FPLs) of GS-13 and GS-14. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

TO QUALIFY FOR THE FPL GS-13: Specialized Experience: One year of leading interdisciplinary project teams to execute complex technical objectives; managing and monitoring comprehensive project management lifecycles; and serving as a primary liaison to continuously communicate project status and resolve issues with customers, project stakeholders, and/or Federal agency representatives.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). In addition to Specialized Experience mentioned above, you MUST meet one or more of the individual occupational requirements (IOR) stated below for the GS-13 grade level (please click the link next to the corresponding series to view qualification requirements): Basic Requirement for Architecture, series 0808: Architecture Series Basic Requirement for Engineering, series 0800: Professional Engineering Basic Requirement for Geologist, series 1350: Geology Series TO QUALIFY FOR THE FPL GS-14: Specialized Experience: One year of serving as a supervisor managing, evaluating, and directing the work of a professional engineering and scientific workforce; acting as an authoritative spokesperson and technical representative for assigned programs to brief senior leadership, external partners, and regulatory bodies; and establishing comprehensive communication frameworks to keep all high-level stakeholders, agency officials, and public/private partners continuously informed of critical project operations, risks, and milestones.
