SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/SCIENTIST

About this role

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/12) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional ENGINEER/SCIENTIST. Specialized experience includes the following: (1) Experience planning and executing tests for complex aircraft, weapon, and sensor systems; (2) Knowledge of NAVAIR Test and Evaluation (T&E) policies and procedures (e.g., NAVAIRINST 3960 series Test Plan Policy, NAVAIRINST 3905.1 series for Test Reporting Policy; (3) Experience working in high-tempo engineering and technical teams in Systems Integration, Software Testing, or Flight Test environments; (4) Experience providing overall direction, coordination, and daily management of a multidisciplinary team; (5) Experience mentoring and training team members (individual level), including entry-level and journey-level employees.
